You Are Eligible If
Accepted Applicants
- You are at least sixteen years old at the time of application.
- You are a United States resident and enrolled, or planning to enroll, in an accredited United States school.
- You can provide accurate school name, program, and expected graduation year.
- You submit an original essay of at least five hundred words and confirm it is your own work.
Not Eligible
- Entries that are under the word minimum or copied from other sources.
- Entries missing a working email address or required fields.
- Multiple entries in the same semester cycle.
This scholarship is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by any school. Your information is used only to evaluate the scholarship entry and contact you about the result.
Essay Prompt
In a minimum of five hundred words, explain a financial decision you have made, or expect to make soon, that will affect your future. It can be education, budgeting, housing, work, or debt. Describe the options you considered, how you evaluated tradeoffs, and what you would do differently with better information. The goal is to show clear thinking and practical reasoning.
What We Look For
- A clear decision and real constraints, money, time, family, or school requirements.
- Specific tradeoffs, not vague motivation statements.
- What you learned and how you would teach someone else to avoid mistakes.
- Good structure, easy to follow, with a beginning, middle, and end.
Original Work Only
Your essay must be your own writing. If you cite sources, cite them briefly and keep the essay primarily your work.
